Chicken efficiency is low?
Raising chickens to profit, cost control is very important. Feed, veterinary medicine, chickens and so on, that aspect of good control, as long as the market meets the right, do not make money is difficult. Among them, the cost of feed will always account for a large portion of the breeding costs.
Chicken farming needs nutritionally balanced feed to ensure the healthy growth of chickens, chicken feed ratio design process, farmers should pay more attention to the dialectical relationship between various nutrients, pay attention to the balance between the different ingredients in the feed, so as to formulate a nutritionally balanced, affordable, competitive advantage with the feed.
Laying hens feed formulation of technical points
In different stages of growth and development, the chicken's demand for nutrients is different. Egg-type chicken feeding is divided into the growth period and egg-laying period. China's egg-type chicken growth period is divided into three stages: 0 to 6 weeks of age, 7 to 14 weeks of age, 15 to 20 weeks of age.
1. Growing period
1.1 Brooding period
0 ~ 6 weeks of age for the brooding period, this period of chickens, as with broilers, fast growth rate, metabolism; but the thermoregulation function is not perfect (from the birth of 39 ℃ gradually rise to 10 days of age can reach the annual body temperature, to 21 days of age or so the thermoregulation tends to be perfect) and the development of the digestive system is not sound (crop and the stomach of the volume is small, small amount of food).
The above characteristics determine its nutritional needs: high energy (11.92MJ/kg diet), high protein (18%), full nutrition. Therefore, when considering feed formulation, it is necessary to reasonably select cost-effective feeds, and take into account easy digestion, suitability for feeding, and good quality in terms of nutritional characteristics. According to the feeding method and enclosure add necessary anti-coccidiosis agent and anti-dysentery drugs.
1.2 Breeding period
Laying hens after 6 weeks of age are usually called breeding hens. At this period, they have normal thermoregulation ability, and each organ develops normally, so they develop rapidly and grow rapidly.
As laying hens, they should not grow too fat before laying, and in order to control the growth rate, the nutritional index of the diet is relatively low, and some breeders have to restrict feeding appropriately. The metabolizable energy level in this period is 11.72MJ/kg diet from 7 to 14 weeks of age and 11.30MJ/kg diet from 14 to 20 weeks of age.
Crude protein level need not be too high, 7 to 14 weeks of age and 15 to 20 weeks of age, the protein level of 16% and 12%; as long as the amino acid balance, the crude protein level can even be reduced to 10%. The protein requirement for broiler chickens does not change much with the progress of age, about 78g for light-sized laying hens and 8-9g for medium-sized brown-shelled egg-laying hens.
Feed for broilers can be made from agricultural by-products such as bran, lees, meal and green fodder to control body mass. Increasing the protein level can only advance the laying age and improve the body mass, neither can it reduce the feed consumption during the breeding period, nor can it have a beneficial effect on the subsequent laying rate and the mortality rate of hens during the laying period.
The level of calcium in the diet of brooding chickens should not be too high. China's feeding standards stipulate that in the three periods before egg laying, the calcium level in the diet is 0.8%, 0.7% and 0.6% respectively. Before 100 days of age, we should pay attention to reduce the calcium content in the feed, it is best to control below 2.5%, which will have an adverse effect on the body quality, feed compensation, egg production and so on.
2. Egg-laying period
Egg chickens 21 weeks of age to elimination is called the egg-laying period. This period is divided into three stages according to the egg production rate: egg production rate of less than 65% for a class, equivalent to 21 to 24 weeks of age and 61. 72 weeks of age of egg chickens with material; egg production rate of 65% to 80% for a class, equivalent to 43, 60 weeks of age with material; egg production rate of more than 80% for a class, equivalent to 25 to 42 weeks of age with material.
According to the egg production rate to determine the level of nutrition and feed formulation, not only can supply laying hens with reasonable nutrients, but also save expensive protein feed. Special attention should be paid to the peak laying period, because the higher the egg production rate, the longer the maintenance time, the better the production efficiency.
During this period, we should maintain the stability of feed mixing and crude protein content, according to the feed standard, the protein level should be 16.5%, if necessary, can be increased to 17% or more, in order to give full play to the hen's maximum production potential; the level of calcium is also very important, be sure to make the calcium in the ration to reach 3.5%, the effective phosphorus to reach 0.33% to 0.35%, and pay attention to the observation of the quality of the eggshells to make reasonable adjustments. In addition, the quality of the raw materials used in the compound feed should be high.
In addition, the raw materials of compound feed should be of good quality and rich in nutrients, and the indexes of essential amino acids, vitamins and trace elements can be increased appropriately. After a long time of egg laying peak, the egg laying rate decreases gradually; however, with the decrease of the egg laying rate, the weight of the eggs increases gradually. Therefore, in order to maintain the yield at this stage, the crude protein content should be gradually reduced when preparing diets, and should not be reduced rapidly.
The level of calcium in the diet should also be fine-tuned, laying hens can be adjusted to about 3.5%, and should be adjusted with the environment and egg production changes. In the hot summer, most of the temperature is high, when the temperature reaches above 35℃, the calcium level should be increased, for example, it can be increased to 3.7%, and even to 3.8% when it is especially hot and stuffy, but note that it should not be higher than 4%.
Laying period of laying hens experienced more than 40 weeks of production activities, feeding a large number of feed, while the body also deposited a considerable body fat, on the one hand, reduces the digestibility of feed, on the other hand, a large number of fat deposits in the liver and fatty liver, greatly increasing the incidence of fatty liver syndrome.
In order to solve this contradiction, the feed intake of laying hens is usually controlled without affecting normal egg production, such as 90% to 95%. Design laying hen feed formula, on the one hand, based on the chicken production level, that is, egg production rate, on the other hand, but also take into account the breed of chicken, such as light varieties, brown shell varieties, etc., the size of the egg, eggshell thickness, as well as the environment and climate and other factors.
The "secret weapon" in chicken feed - bile acids
1、Improve the digestibility and absorption of feed:As a feed additive, bile acid can significantly improve the digestibility and absorption of feed, so that the value of feed can be fully realized. Especially for the fats and oils in the feed, bile acid has the effect of promoting digestion and absorption, thus reducing the amount of added fats and oils.
2、Improvement of egg quality:Adding bile acids to laying hens' feed can not only increase the egg production of laying hens, but also improve the quality of eggs and effectively reduce the number of dirty eggs, soft-shelled eggs, broken eggs and sandy-skinned eggs.
3、Protect liver health:Bile acids are especially important for chicks. As the internal organs of chicks are not well developed, the liver is in the stage of growth and development, and bile secretion is low, resulting in poor digestion and absorption of fat-soluble substances. Adding bile acid can supplement the problem of insufficient bile secretion caused by the physiological characteristics of chicks, and promote the absorption of yolk and the digestion and absorption of fat-soluble substances in the feed, so as to increase the body weight of chicks.
4、Promote liver detoxification:Bile acid can also stimulate the liver cells to secrete a large amount of thin bile and participate in the hydrolysis reaction of mycotoxins in the body, constantly expel the deposited mycotoxins from the body, protect the liver and detoxification, and alleviate the myogastritis caused by the vertical transmission of mycotoxins in chicks.
5、Reduce cost and increase efficiency:From the point of view of cost-effectiveness, adding bile acids creates greater breeding benefits by reducing feed consumption, increasing egg weight and lowering the amount of fats and oils.
In summary, bile acids, as the secret weapon of chicken feed, play an important role in increasing feed digestibility and absorption, improving egg quality, protecting liver health, promoting liver detoxification as well as reducing costs and increasing efficiency.
